Crew & Hangout Data: Crew names, member names, hangout locations, dates, times, and RSVP responses you create or participate in.
Bill Split Data: Receipt photos, itemized expenses, and split calculations you enter for past hangouts.
Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including features used and preferences selected.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the NextHang service, including hangout coordination, RSVP tracking, and bill splitting.
Generate AI-powered place suggestions based on your preferences and location.
Process receipt photos using AI to extract itemized bill information.
Send notifications about upcoming hangouts and RSVP reminders.
Improve and personalize your experience within the app.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. We do not maintain a centralized database of your personal hangout data. Receipt images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

NextHang uses the following third-party services:

OpenAI: To power AI place suggestions and receipt scanning. Data sent to OpenAI is processed according to their privacy policy.
Expo: For app delivery and push notifications. Expo's privacy practices are described in their privacy policy.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

With your consent or at your direction.
